JOB TITLE: Operator
Essential duties and responsibilities:
This position is a cross functional one which performs all operations (except extrusion set-up) in roller operations, including fabric cleanout, raw material changeovers, operating cleanout and cutting machines, assembling, perform quality checks and inspections, rework, transports raw and finished goods, and packing. Must be available to work reasonable overtime and work any shift with reasonable notice as needed.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have basic mechanical aptitude, be able to work in team environment, stand for entire shift and transport up to 50 lbs. (may be required to obtain forklift license), communicate effectively and work in teams, work in hot environment. Must have good basic math skills, communication skills, and keep work area clean. Must be able to learn and perform job in qualifying period. Must meet minimum standards on pre-employment assessments.
